Joonya wipes ranked #1 in USA for ingredient safety – again!

We have just found out some exciting news that Joonya has again been ranked #1 out of 39 baby wipes brands in the USA for the safety of our ingredients list (2019) by www.ireadlabelsforyou.com … Yaaaayyy!

Some of the brands on the list were Water Wipes, Naty, Seventh Generation, Bambo, Mustela, Walmart Parents Choice, Huggies, Pampers, Babyganics…

Irina from “I Read Labels For You” is a full time product reviewer and researcher and reaches out to every wipes manufacturer in the USA annually by email and phone to get as much information as possible.

She has encountered resistance from some companies when asking for in-depth information and they have tried to avoid her questions. I must say that we were a little taken aback by the level of information she required from us but we agreed to be completely transparent. We are so pleased that after her intense review, little Joonya from Australia is again at the top of the list in 2019 which makes us very happy & gives us further confidence that we are providing a safer option for your little ones.

She mentioned that lately some manufacturers have been moving away from using strong preservatives. On the one hand, this is good because your baby will be less likely to get a rash from the preservatives. However, the lack of preservatives may lead to the growth of mould (which is often visible to the naked eye and therefore obvious) and bacteria (which is too small for us to see with the naked eye).

She believes Joonya strikes the right balance 🙂 Feel free to share with your friends – we are a teeny, tiny brand and your recommendations are our main form of marketing!

In other news, 22 April is officially ‘Earth Day’ and we are proudly supporting ‘Trees for the Future’ by planting 1 tree for each order we receive – all year long. Let’s all do our bit where we can to help that old girl Mother Earth.

Kindly,

Leanne & Rich x
